Web-Based Panorama Image Viewer
Slunský, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is the implementation of panoramic viewer of videos and images with use of WebGL. Thesis is focussing on processing videos in fisheye mode without having to convert them to equirectangular projection. Between other aspects of this thesis belongs the improvement of panoramic viewer with compass or with information about viewers angle.
Algorithms for Automatic Spherical Image and Video Cropping
Object Tracking in Panoramic Video
Ambrož, Vít ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The master thesis maps the state of the art of visual object tracking in panoramic 360° video. The thesis aims to reveal the main problems related to visual object tracking and moreover focuses on their solution in panoramic videos. In the study of the existing approaches was found that very few solutions of visual object tracking in equirectangular projection of panoramic video have been implemented so far. This thesis therefore presents two improvements of object tracking methods that are based on the adaptation of equirectangular frames. In addition, this thesis brings the manually created dataset of panoramic videos with more than 9900 annotations. Finally the detailed evaluation of 12 well known and state of the art trackers has been performed for this new dataset.
Recording and Processing of 3D Sound for Sound Design
Šilar, Prokop ; Rund, František (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is research of available tools for sound production of 3D and 360° video, ambisonic theory elaboration, selection and description of plug-in moduls to be used for teaching ambisonics. These ambisonic-related formats are described: A-format, B-format (FuMa), B-format (AmbiX), C-format and D-format. Loudspeaker configurations for ambisonic recordings playback are also described (loudspeaker configuration according to the ITU-R BS 775-3 recommendation and quadrophonic loudspeaker configuration). Also, these plug-in moduls are described: Sennheiser AMBEO Orbit, SoundField by Rde, Soundfield SurroundZone2, Ambisonic Toolkit for Reaper and Facebook Audio 360 Spatial Workstation. Moreover, there is described ambisonics-related work in Reaper, Cubase and Nuendo DAWs and there are demonstrational projects for work with ambisonics demonstrating basic signal operations and spatial panning of close-miked sound sources in the DAWs and plug-in modules in question. These plug-in modules and their use in DAWs in question are described in purpose of basic foundation of ambisonic-related teaching at this school with the use of instruments just available. Even theory described here can be used as teaching foundation compiling the basics of the problematics in question. Demonstrational projects made for this thesis can be used directly in the laboratory exercises.

Analysis of preconditions for the creation of 360-degree video technology and its production
Látal, Filip ; Truhlář, Filip (advisor) ; Krist, Antonín (referee)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with a new type of media which represents the 360-degree video technology. The theoretic part of the thesis analyses the history and evolution of the audio-visual work and the preconditions leading to the creation of 360-degree video technology. This technology is defined in depth and the production cycle is chronologically described including the differences from the recording of the traditional audio-visual work. The practical part of the bachelor´s thesis introduces the details of the specific production process on which I participated in person.
